150,000 Canadians Are Already Using FHSA — Finance Minister Freeland

Finance Minister and Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland reported on her X (formerly Twitter) handle that 150,000 Canadians are already benefiting from the First Time Home Savings Account (FHSA) that was launched in April this year.

With a FHSA, you can contribute up to $8,000 per year without taxes toward your down payment. The lifetime contribution limit is $40,000.

It’s a good start, but how long are you going to contribute till $8,000 yearly contribution amount to your down payment?
