Canada to support Ukraine with 50 armored vehicles, suspends 63 Russians – PM Trudeau

Following the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s two-day visit to Canada (Thursday-Friday), Ukraine has attracted more support from the Canadian government.

Canada Prime Minister, Trudeau announced on Friday that the Canadian government will “provide them with 50 made-in-Canada armored vehicles.”

In addition, the Canadian government will “contribute pilot and maintenance instructors for F-16 fighter aircraft, and support for Leopard 2 tank maintenance.” Trudeau announced.

This announcement follows additional sanctions of “63 Russian individuals and entities” in order to “increase pressure on the Russia regime.” Claims Trudeau.

Trudeau and Zelenskyy have also signed a Free Trade Agreement to help Ukraine’s economy recover and strengthen its partnership with Canada.

Aside from the government support, private businesses across the country are also supporting the Ukrainian government against its invention by Russia.
