Cher releases her first Christmas album

Cher, a legendary artist with an EGOT status and a unique achievement of having a No. 1 song in each of the past six decades, has ventured into new territory with her Christmas album, “Christmas.”

Cher’s career has spanned various fields, including a gelato business called Cherlato. This album represents her first release in five years and is dedicated to her late mother, Georgia Holt.

Cher’s Christmas album features an impressive lineup of collaborators, such as Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Wonder, Darlene Love, Michael Buble, and even rapper Tyga, thanks to the connection of her partner, Alexander Edwards.

She also plans to release a 25th-anniversary edition of her Grammy-winning album “Believe” and marks the 35th anniversary of her Best Actress Oscar win for “Moonstruck.”

While she remains open to acting opportunities, Cher emphasizes her support for the ongoing Hollywood actors’ strike before considering any new projects.

Cher’s Christmas album is a testament to her enduring eclecticism and creativity in the entertainment industry.
