Poilievre’s Bill That Seeks To Extend Carbon Tax Pause on All Home Heating Oil Was Defeated

In late October the Trudeau government suspended carbon tax on home heating oil for three years; a move that favours few Canadians against the majority.

In opposition, the Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.

Today the bill was rejected by 186 Nays against 135 Yeas, following Liberal-Bloc Québécois thumb downs.
