“That’s Supreme Court Opinion, The Act Continues To Stand” — Minister Guilbeault Kicks at Critics [Video]

Last Friday, the Supreme Court ruled that the controversial Impact Assessment Act (No More Pipelines) is largely unconstitutional and asked that the act should be worked on for another assessment.

Canadians nationwide were happy with the Supreme Court ruling and expect the bill to be buried subsequently.

However, in a recent interview with CTV News, the Minister of Environment and Climate, Steven Guilbeault said the ruling is just a Supreme Court opinion and the Act still stands as they work on improving it for another assessment.
