Universal Basic Income: Are You For or Against?

Today the Senate is studying the guaranteed livable basic income (universal basic income) bill that would introduce a framework for a policy that would guarantee access to a livable income to everyone over 17.

Universal Basic Income

Some are in support while others are against.

Which side do you belong?

You’re for communism. I’m against it 100% cause it’s unjust and unsustainable.

The Rational Post has perfectly explained the crux against socialism. Read it below:

“Universal Basic Income – like taxation – involves the forcible redistribution of money from one group to another. What we generally fail to see is the only reason this gets sanctioned is that we recategorized money as “not property”.

To illustrate, what if someone proposed the “Universal Basic Kidney” program. Under this program, it is proposed that if someone has two healthy kidney’s, the owner of those kidneys would be forcibly anesthetized and have one kidney removed to redistribute to another with unhealthy kidneys.

We know this is immoral and a crime. Why? We understand the individual has complete dominion over their kidneys. So why not money which is simply a store of one’s labour? Is money a person’s property or not? Of course it is.

Governments, their accomplices, enforcers, and dependents need to perpetuate the fallacy money is not property to have people hand their property over.

If another asks “Is Universal Basic Income a good idea?”, you ask them “Is the forcible redistribution of property a good idea?”. Watch what happens. Their entire program rests on the premise that money is not property. You could simply take that person’s wallet or purse and take their money out of it, but I wouldn’t recommend it. That would likely end badly. Obviously, the person will resist…proving the point.

When someone says, “Universal Basic Income is a human right!” this is the hallmark of a looter disguising theft as virtue. Collectivists never criticize others for wanting another’s money, only when one wants to keep their own.

If we accept “Universal Basic Income” is theft, it logically follows “taxation is theft” as well.

We’d understand this, but the government replaced our universal basic education with public schools.”

Hope you now cleared?

From each according to their ability, to each according to their need. Of course, there will ALWAYS be someone with more need than YOU. So I cant support such policy
