This is what I’m doing to survive the recession

I’m navigating the economic storm by diving headfirst into a side hustle called print-on-demand (POD).

With bills piling up and the cost of living skyrocketing, I needed a lifeline, and that’s when I stumbled upon this creative avenue.

Printify turned out to be the silver lining I desperately needed. Armed with my smartphone and a dash of determination, I ventured into the world of e-commerce.

The beauty of Printify is its simplicity – I could design custom products like T-shirts, mugs, and phone cases, and the platform would handle the printing and shipping.

I began by tapping into my creative side, coming up with quirky designs that resonated with people. The process was surprisingly user-friendly; I just uploaded my designs, selected the products I wanted to offer, and set my prices. Printify takes care of the rest, the production, shipping and delivery.

Promoting my creations became a thrilling challenge. Social media became my best friend – Instagram, Facebook, and even TikTok. I showcased my unique designs, shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the creative process, and engaged with potential customers.

The extra income not only helps me weather the financial storm but also gives me a sense of control in these uncertain times.

What’s your recession defence story?

That’s a kind of you OP.

I’m scaling my freelancing business to cover other related jobs. I was freelance writer before but I now take freelance proofreading and editing jobs.
